Hi, I'm Julia

I create abstract mixed-media pieces that hold space for softness, slowness, and breath.

My work is rooted in flow — the kind of quiet presence that arrives when you stop trying to make something perfect and simply let colour lead the way.

What Inspires Me

I am inspired by the invisible things — states of being you can’t quite name, but you can feel.Moments where the world slows down: light on water, breath settling in the chest, the sensation of being held by nature.

Psychology and inner-child work shape how I see colour and emotion.
The ocean reminds me to release control.
Slowness teaches me to trust flow over perfection.
And mixed media gives me the freedom to follow curiosity, layering softness, texture, and feeling.

My story

I’ve been painting for almost ten years, but everything shifted when I turned 25.

I’ve been painting for almost ten years, but everything shifted when I turned 25.

That was the moment I stopped creating for an outcome and began creating for the experience.

Letting go of perfection opened the door to abstract art — a place where expression felt honest and intuitive.

Alongside painting, I run a design studio. Design taught me order and intention; art taught me freedom and surrender.

Together, they shaped the way I see and create.
