Background

The AI-powered property management app helps agents become superstars, gives landlords peace of mind, and offers tenants a sought-after rental profile and a simple application process.

Challenge

Our challenge was to design a platform that connects everyone involved in property rental and make it epic. We needed to design journeys for agents, tenants, and landlords that would make processes smoother and more transparent for everyone. We had to keep in mind where their paths would overlap and what one user’s action would trigger on another user’s side. And, of course, keep it simple and intuitive despite the complexity of the evolving platform.

Problems

Agent Fatigue and Work Overload

Agents are dealing with multiple tenant applications at a time. It is time-consuming for tenants to go through these applications, sort, or group them together.

Tenant Credibility

Many people struggle to get property rentals in South Africa due to credibility issues.

Solutions

An Easy Application Management Solution for Agents

It was apparent that agents are often dealing with over 10 tenant applications at a time for one property. The platform needed to have an easy solution for managing these large tenant groups per property.

A Unified Rental Profile for Tenants

Rental applications usually mean admin and long forms. So, we added some fun, AI, and intuition into the application process. Now, applying for their first property using Averly means tenants have a rental profile for life. Every time they apply to rent, they can do it using their profile, and keeping their details up to date is easy.
