A Website Redesign for a Visitor Management System

In this case study, I explore my role in the early development phase of Some1, a visitor management system, where I was tasked with redesigning their one-page marketing website. This project presented a unique opportunity to refresh outdated visuals, integrate new features, and expand on the UI brand patterns, enhancing the overall user experience and brand consistency.

The Goal

The primary objective was to modernize and enhance the Some1 website to reflect new features and updated content. The challenge was to not only update the look and feel but also to ensure the brand's visuals were cohesive across the homepage. This redesign needed to attract potential users and investors by showcasing the product's capabilities and sleek, user-friendly interface.

The Solution

Visual Overhaul

I initiated the project by conducting a thorough review of the existing website to identify areas that felt outdated. By applying contemporary design principles, I introduced a fresher, more modern aesthetic that aligned with current trends.

UI Expansion

To strengthen the brand identity, I expanded the UI brand patterns. This involved developing a more robust design system that included new color schemes, typography, and iconography that resonated with the target audience.

Feature Integration

Working closely with the client, I incorporated new features into the website design. This process involved iterating layouts and navigation to ensure that new functionalities were seamlessly integrated and easy to navigate.
